Accessible within 2 blocks of the Seattle Light Rail Capitol Hill station.


Hours: 9:30AM-6:00PM


Required attire:

Closed toe, rubber-soled shoes or boots that are laced up (no loose laces or shoes that slip off when walking.) No Crocs.

No tank tops

Long hair in ponytail or clip, and longer hair (over 3”) but too short for ponytails should have a hat or bandana

No nail polish

Aprons required daily (provided)


Safety requirements:

Students agree to not wear headphones/ear buds during instruction time.


Student Conduct:

Students must treat peers, staff, and property with respect and safety in mind

Bullying and Harassment will not be tolerated and could lead to students being removed from camp

Fighting, threats, and disruptive behaviors are not allowed; they are here to learn and have fun

Removing any items from the kitchen or dining area is not allowed


Emergency Contact information:

We will collect emergency contact information in the contract.

Injury Reporting:

Even with all precautions in place, injuries can happen in kitchen settings.

Any injury more severe than can be contained with an adhesive bandage or first-degree burn treatment will be reported to parents immediately.

Eye-wash station is located in the kitchen and all students will be taught how and when to use it during orientation on the first day.

More severe injuries will be managed according to the contract.


Phone Policy:

Due to sanitation and safety reasons, phone use during instruction time is not allowed except in certain circumstances. Students will have time to use their phones during meals, and will have time to take photos of completed dishes. Any handling of phones during food preparation time must be followed by hand washing. If you have concerns about this, please reach out to the chefs. Chefs will have phones on their person in case of emergency.


Refund Guidelines:

Initial deposit of $500 is non-refundable.

Cancellation in writing prior to May 31, 2026 is eligible for refund in full minus $500 deposit.

Cancellation in writing between June 1 and 15th is eligible for 50% refund minus $500 deposit.

No refunds are provided for cancellation after 11:59PM PST on June 15th, 2026.
